Back Office Manager

We’re looking for a back office assistant to join our growing team!


Efficient Frontier is a digital assets algorithmic trading firm and liquidity provider, trading over $1 Billion a week. With over 14 years of high frequency trading experience, we research and develop quantitative strategies and provide liquidity to many leading digital asset exchanges,   issuers and funds. Alongside our industry-leading partners, we strongly believe in adding value to the industry by creating best in class solutions and service and contributing knowledge.

Our team is growing and now works from two global hubs: Tel Aviv and San Francisco.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Take ownership on various finance processes, such as conciliating payments with our customers, maintaining and balancing the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner, assisting with financial forecasting, between others

  • Assist with various payroll and human resources functions to include: onboarding of new employees, helping with the different recruitment processes, processing salaries and collecting expenses, processing invoices, collecting documents and helping the legal team, between others.

  • Assist the CEO with his daily schedule and duties, to include managing his calendar & commitments, follow ups and overseeing the flow of work.

  • Independently anticipate and provide responsive administrative support. This will require executing a broad range of administrative responsibilities with some tasks occurring routinely and/or on an "ad hoc" basis per real-time needs of the Leadership team.


What you bring to the table:

  • Previous experience in role - mandatory!

  • Experience in bookkeeping, spreadsheets and basic formulas - big advantage!

  • Creativity and strong problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to multitask.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills - in both English and Hebrew

  • High levels of both English and Hebrew, orally and in writing

  • Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills

  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction.

  • Highly effective time management and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced work environments

  • Promoting teamwork spirit

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
